Patrick O'Hanlon

Web-Developer

I created this project as a learning exercise in vanilla JavaScript.

I took advantage of the many resources outlining the fundamental design of a todo list app. Instead of creating a simple todo list I wanted this app to have a more focused goal, keeping track of films and TV show the user has watched.

As my skill in JavaScript develops I plan to create a more fully featured version of this app complete with API integration, allowing for film artwork, release years and genres to be auto-populated.

The code for this project can be viewed here.

This project is my own personal illustration portfolio. Creating this was an exercise in using plain HTML and CSS. Specificaly CSS grid and creating reusable CSS files as can be seen in the gallery view of each illustration project.

Before getting into web development and front-end design, creating a website for my art was something I struggled with.

Now, being able to create a website from scratch to share my work exactly how I want it to anyone with a web browser is very fulfilling.

I plan on iterating on this project for a long time as creating art is something I plan to continue doing.
